Valerii first rode a bike when he was 18. After tinkering with two-wheeled Soviet heritage he found a love for long-distance travel on Japanese bikes. In 2010-2011 Valerii rode around the world on a Honda Africa Twin making his childhood dream come true.

Once back in Ukraine, he created and hosted "Motoshow" program aired by the First National TV channel. Later he set up his riding school and led our first tour to the Himalayas in 2016.

In addition to his roles in Mototravel Valerii is the head of FMSU motorcycle travel commission and a member of FIM Europe touring commission.

Andrii first got into the motorcycle business at the age of 27. As the co-founder and editor-in-chief of BIKE magazine he tested various bikes and interviewed countless people including Valerii Kryshen. The acquaintance turned into a friendship, and the idea of a future business built around two-wheel travel was born.

After riding all over Europe on asphalt, Andrii switched to a dual-sport bike in 2018. Just a year later, he led his first Mototravel tour as a group leader.

We were super excited when Alex joined our team after his Motorancho tenure since he is the best off-road riding instructor in Ukraine! Over more than 20 years in the saddle he has covered 300+ thousand kilometres spending more time in the dirt than on tarmac.

In the Mototravel project Alex is mainly responsible for Offroad and Adventure tours. He also gives individual off-road lessons on heavy dual-sports.
